TheBPM.net has named AC Slater’s new Los Angeles monthly Night Bass the most exciting new U.S. dance party and we can’t agree more.

Together with Dim Mak, Party Like Us, and AC Slater, Night Bass brings the sound that’s bubbling out of the bass bins from dark clubs and warehouses the world over direct to LA. Expect to hear cutting-edge house, garage, bassline, and boundary-pushing music.

Petey Clicks - Magic Words

After the incredibly positive feedback from Creature, I’m very excited to get the second EP from Petey Clicks out into the world. I don’t know why both of his EPs so far have Dungeons & Dragons style cover art, or why the B-side is the title of this EP, but I do know that he broke his toe during the making of this record.

Anyway, true to form, Petey came through with two digital slabs of modern bass music, each with one foot just outside of the comfort zone. Da Feelin is an absolute must during the peak hours of a DJ set, and M" cleverly evokes the spirit of UK garage with a unique Petey Clicks twist.

Jay Robinson - The Prolefeed EP

Hailing from North Wales, rising star Jay Robinson lands on Party Like Us Records with a 4-track deep house bouncer The Prolefeed EP.

Each song captures that bass-drenched, late-night-into-morning warehouse vibe; sublime pads and singer Danniella Mae’s sultry voice transforms “With U” into an anthem for the ladies, while italo pianos, euphoric female vocal stabs and pulsing basslines drive “Hyer” and “Slung”. “Turn” literally takes a plunge towards the dark side with minimal melodies and commanding male vocals.

With Jay already frequently receiving support from artists like Annie Nightingale, Annie Mac, Laidback Luke, Kissy Sellout, Tiesto, Fake Blood and many more, The Prolefeed EP is a major step forward for this vibrant, emerging UK talent.

Rico Tubbs - Deadly Sound

Finland’s heavy bass badman Rico Tubbs makes his triumphant return to Party Like Us Records with Deadly Sound, a bassline hurricane of an EP that’s tinged with jungle vibes and a fat, bouncing low end. Four-to-the-floor riddims and vintage ragga samples drive the record at a breakneck pace, bringing bassline squarely back into focus.

Alongside the title track’s thunderous, crunchy groove, “Champions” is an intentional nod to the past with its classic UK rave breakbeats and ethereal pads, while “Mad Rough” is aimed directly towards the future, an upbeat and dynamic roller that’s soaked in menacing synths and frenetic breaks.

AC Slater - Night Moves EP

AC Slater returns to Party Like Us with Night Moves, an EP of bass-heavy, dancefloor-friendly music. The 3-tracker kicks off with “So Sweet”, featuring the bittersweet vocals of Megan Thomas layed over a bed of spaced-out chords, building up to a plunge into a dark and heavy bassline. Next up is “Go Harder”, with its intro that grows into a half-time breakdown featuring a vocal hook by Party Like Us recording artist Dell Harris, and a classic Slater big bass drop. Finishing off the EP is “What You Want”, a frantic grime/house hybrid with an eerily calm breakdown in the middle to break up the chaos between drops. This one is for the basement parties and the warehouse raves.

Petey Clicks - Creature

Party Like Us is extremely excited to present the first release from LA-based producer Petey Clicks, two hearty slabs of bass-heavy house infused with strong injections of UK grime and garage. The title track “Creature” kicks off the EP with a dark, slinky bassline that crawls along seriously-shuffly drums, while a haunting voice repeats the word “creature” between head-bobbing drum patterns. The B-side “U N ME” brings the mood to a brighter place with sliding chords and bass, carried by a jacking beat and half-time switch-ups. Top-notch production skills combined with a unique take on the current trend of heavy bass house music make this one a must play.

DJ Q - Sound Boy Connection

Having spent 6 years hosting the UKG M1X Show on BBC Radio 1Xtra, and more recently the Essential Garage Show on Ministry of Sound Radio, UKG legend DJ Q needs no introduction. Party Like Us is proud to present a record that runs the gamut from classic bassline to modern, deep-house-tinged garage, updating those classic Northern England vibes to something more rooted in today’s clubs.

The title track “Sound Boy Connection” is a thick bassline roller imbued with Robbie Rue’s baritone ragga vocals. “Heaven” takes a more sublime approach, a blend of sweet female attitude and hands-in-the-air pianos, while “Wreck It” rattles the bass bin like wobbly thunder. Finally, “Oh Yeah,” Q’s collaboration with AC Slater, is a banging bouncer of a tune that transplants UKG directly into the heart of Los Angeles.

Dell Harris - Chateau Rap

Dell Harris is leading a new movement. His third full-length release Chateau Rap takes a step back from club bangers and crafts a vibrant slice of controlled excess: enjoy what you have to the fullest while striving to get everything you’ve ever wanted. This attitude is reflected throughout the album in songs like “They Like”, a laid-back, uplifting call to arms for a late night out, and “Werkxxx”, a strip club anthem about a girl with no options trying to make her way in the world.

Adding to the release’s dynamic nature is the Kyle Van Riper-produced “Gold Crucifix”, featuring guest vocals by Megan Thomas. Rapid-fire metaphors reveal Dell’s raw artistry and paint a captivating picture of the new normal in modern hip hop lifestyle.

Executive-produced by AC Slater, Chateau Rap also features top-notch productions from Brandon Rossi, and collaborations throughout with Villa Villamor.

Rain City Riot - Control

They say everything works in cycles, and dance music is no exception. House and garage are re-emerging to bring much-needed depth back to the rave, combating festival fatigue and blown-out bass bins.

Berlin’s boy wonder Rain City Riot is helping to shape the future of this sound, starting with this deep, bouncy two-track release. The A-side, “Control”, blends a heavy, modern low end with sounds reminiscent of The Prodigy of the 1990’s, while “On A Real” is a relentless ricochet of fat beach-ball synths.

AC Slater - Party Animals EP

Party Like Us’ main party animal AC Slater drops the fittingly-named Party Animals EP, four brand new slices of heavy bass heaven packed full of signature Slater rave pianos, high energy builds, and exciting bass textures. Raise Up gets the party started with an epic intro carrying an assault of bass on its back. Night Owl is a huge collaboration between Slater and Melbourne’s Nick Thayer (OWSLA)—it’s a peak-time tune that will easily insight a riot on the dancefloor. NYC’s favorite twins Nina Sky step into the vocal booth and bring it hard on the title track Party Animals, a festival-ready song as heavy as it is beautiful. Rounding off the EP is Ass Drop, a big bass banger featuring Atlanta-based rapper Dell Harris that’s been making necks sore and asses drop around the world for the last few months.

Ryan Marks - Fiji

Riding the massively popular trap wave, LA-based producer Ryan Marks blows up the spot with his thunderous Fiji EP. Quench your thirst for insane 808 bass on the neck-snapping title track, Fiji. The B-side Staring Contest is a frantic work-out built around true island vibes. Los Angeles’ unstoppable production machine ETC!ETC! goes in hard on the high-energy remix of Fiji, and rounding out the package, a Los Angeleno by the name of D!RTY AUD!O brings Fiji into the realm of moombahton with a big, ass-shaking bang. As a special addition, Dell Harris also proves that trap is first-and-foremost rap music, not just electronic beats!
